Beth Patterson, PT, CYT, CIDN

Beth Patterson, PT, CYT, CIDN

Beth Patterson, PT, CYT, CIDN is a Jackson, TN native and North Side High School graduate. She earned her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in 1993.


She was a co-founder of the Special Kids Rehabilitation Center in Murfreesboro, TN in 1998, Rein-bow Riding Academy in Jackson, TN in 2001, AquaTherapies in 2004, and Obegone Fitness in 2012. After selling AquaTherapies to West Tennessee Healthcare, she worked as Director of Sports Plus AquaTherapies until 2013 when she left to open her own outpatient therapy clinic, Patterson Physical Therapy. Her vision was to focus on quality patient care from a holistic mindset.

Beth Patterson has advanced her skills and certifications in pelvic floor therapy for women, men, and pediatric populations. She has advanced training in manual therapy / myofascial release techniques, dry needling, and yoga therapy. She has an advanced certification as a pregnancy and post postpartum yoga therapist.


Nacole Howerton-Bradley, PT, DPT, OCS, CIDN

  Nacole has focused her career on orthopedics and sports medicine. After attending UT Martin, Nacole graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Physical Therapy degree (2004) and then a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (2007) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She became a Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2009; and in 2019 completed a year long re-certification process.


Looking to diversify her manual therapy skills and offer additional therapies to her patients, she became certified in Integrative Dry Needling in 2019 and Schroth scoliosis therapy in 2021. Custom orthotics is also a special interest area with Nacole successfully treating a variety of foot, knee and back problems with heat molded orthotics and custom lifts. Nacole enjoys treating a variety of patients from high school and college athletes to those more mature patients with age- or work-related injuries and also after orthopedic surgery.

Gerardo Jara, PT, DPT, IASTM, CDN

Gerardo Jara, PT, DPT, IASTM, CDN

Gerardo Jara, PT, DPT is originally from Argentina and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy with the University of St. Augustine, St. Augustine, FL.


He has advanced skills and training in manual therapy techniques for treating the spine and joints and is certified in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and dry needling. He is certified in Paris Stanley manual therapy techniques as well as Mulligan manual therapy techniques. He is also a certified Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation Specialist.


Born in Argentina, Gerardo is excellent at working with Spanish speaking population.  We are blessed to have his skill set among our team.


Sequoyha Outlaw, PT, DPT

Sequoyha, a native of Jackson, TN, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College in Knoxville, TN and, after spending 6 months with us during her training, she decided to join the Patterson Physical Therapy team.


She became interested in pursuing Physical Therapy in high school because she was fascinated by the body's healing process and wanted to help improve the quality of life for those with illness or injury. She has since completed a continuiing education courses in Women's Health and dry needling.

Sequoyha Outlaw, PT, DPT

Laura Wilson, PT, DPT, ATC

After graduating from Union University with her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Laura continued her education at University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy. Laura has also earned her certificate as a LSVT BIG physical therapist which specializes in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease.


She is passionate about using her knowledge and skills to aid her patients in returning to their prior level of function and beyond while in the clinic.  Laura also in on adjunct faculty at Union University teaching in the masters of athletic training program.


Veronica Ashlock, PT, CIDN, ADS

Veronica is a UT Memphis graduate and has been practicing since 1991 in various settings of acute care, wound care, geriatric home care, hydrotherapy, and sports orthopedics. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis and has completed post-graduate coursework in Manual Therapy.


Veronica practices in our South Jackson location. She has completed training in Integrative Dry Needling and is an AcuDetox Specialist. She employs a holistic approach, utilizing soft tissue mobilization, cupping therapy and electrophysiology agents to achieve optimum function and pain relief. She is passionate about the science of health and the art of healing!

Caitlin Courtner, PT, DPT has been practicing physical therapy since 2013 after graduating with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Belmont University. Prior to Belmont, she completed her undergraduate degree at Union University in Biology.


Caitlin has worked the majority of her years in outpatient, orthopedic clinics and is also has advanced skills and certificaitons in dry needling. She currently resides in Medina, TN with her husband and two sons, Aiden and Hudson. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, offer soccer lessons, and travel.


Cynthia Thomson PT, DPT, GCS

Cynthis Thomson PT, DPT, GCS has been practicing physical therapy since 2009 after graduating with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Prior to Belmont, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas.


Cynthia has worked the majority of her years in outpatient, orthopedic clinics and is also has advanced skills and training in dry needling, male and female pelvic health, and is a board-certified Geriatric specialist. She currently resides in Jackson, TN with her daughter. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, playing softball with Elizabeth, and travel.

Baylee graduated in May of 2023 with her Doctor of Occupational Therapy Degree from The University of Mississippi Medical Center. Prior to UMMC, Baylee attended Mississippi State University where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. Baylee enjoys treating a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic conditions, neurologic/ neurodegenerative disease, pediatrics, and pelvic floor health.


She most recently expanded on her training to graduate from Norton School of lymphedema where she became a Certified Lyphedema Therapist. Baylee currently resides in Humboldt, TN with her husband and 3 Australian Shepherds. In her free time she loves to be at the gym, cook, be with family and friends, watch Mississippi State football and baseball, or travel.


Kylie Dunavan OTR/L

Kylie Dunavan OTR/L graduated in May of 2022 with her Master of Occupational Therapy Degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and was awarded theAchievement Award in Occupational Therapy for her graduating class by program faculty. Prior to UTHSC, Kylie attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where she obtained a BS in Psychology. Kylie has experience in evaluation and treatment of neurological/neurodegenerative diseases, orthopedic conditions, and developmental concerns. Kylie became interested in pelvic health after her own experience with pelvic floor dysfunction following the birth of her son in May of 2023. Kylie is passionate about the pre- and post-natal experience and is trained in addressing related mental, physical, and spiritual concerns. It is her hope to restore health and hope to women across the lifespan. Kylie  resides Jackson, TN with her husband (Casey), son (Shepherd),

and two dogs.

Niki Fesmire, PTA

Niki Fesmire, PTA is a native of Jackson. She is a graduate of Jackson Southside High School and Jackson State Community College. She joined the team at Patterson PT in August 2014. Coming from the Jackson Clinic Outpatient Therapy Department since 2005, she brings great hands-on skills and expertise after working closely with the physicians and therapists at the Jackson Clinic.


Brian Kirkpatrick, PTA

Brian Kirkpatrick, PTA lives in Martin with his wife Krissa and their twins Hendrix and Harper. He is a graduate of Concorde Career College. He joined our team in June 2017. He has spent the majority of his professional career working in outpatient therapy, and enjoys building relationships and educating his patients to maintain the best results possible.


"I love working with the team at Patterson PT, and I love the way we are able to dedicate ourselves to patient treatment for a full session rather than dividing attention between multiple patients. This gives us the opportunity to get great results from every treatment. I want everyone we treat to get better, and will do everything I can to make that happen. I also want to make sure you know how to prevent reinjury, and make that a regular focus of treatment.

Angelita Upchurch has a passion to help people heal and get back to doing the things they enjoy. She graduated University of Memphis with an exercise science and health promotion degree and then furthered her education at Tennessee State University with a Masters in Physical Therapy.


She enjoys learning new things especially those that develop her skills as a therapist. She is the mother of two and loves God, family, and music. After recently relocating to Jackson, Tn, she joined our team at Patterson's Physical Therapy.


Laurie Mann, PTA

Laurie Mann, PTA graduated from Jackson State Community College in 1993. Laurie is from Brownsville, TN. She joined the Patterson Team in 2024 in order to pursue her passion for helping those with pelvic floor dysfunction. She enjoys watching UT football games on weekends with her family and friends.

Ellen McCadams, PTA

Ellen McCadams, PTA graduated from Jackson State Community College in 2007 with a degree as a physical therapy assistant. She currently lives in Milan, TN, with her husband and daughter and loves to go camping and spend time outdoors with her family. She has vast experience in outpatient clinics that specialize in manual therapy techniques.
