What is Vestibular Rehabilitation?
The vestibular system contains parts of the inner ear and brain that help control balance and eye movements. When this system is damaged by disease, aging, or injury, vestibular disorders can result and are often associated with symptoms such as vertigo and dizziness.
Vestibular Rehabilitation is a physical therapy approach to the treatment of these symptoms provided by certified physical therapists using the most advanced training in the treatment of vertigo and balance disorders to decrease dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance.
