Nacole Howerton-Bradley, PT, DPT, OCS, CIDN

Nacole has focused her seventeen year career on orthopedics and sports medicine. After attending UT Martin, Nacole graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Physical Therapy degree (2004) and then a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (2007) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. With an interest in orthopedics and a desire to further her education, she became a Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2009; and in 2019 completed a year long re-certification process. Only two physical therapists in the Jackson area are board certified specialists in orthopedics. Looking to diversify her manual therapy skills and offer additional therapies to her patients, she began dry needling training with the Integrative Dry Needling Institute and became certified in 2019. Integrative dry needling looks at the entire body system of muscles, nerves, joints and fascia and has a special emphasis on sports rehabilitation. Custom orthotics is also a special interest area with Nacole successfully treating a variety of foot, knee and back problems with heat molded orthotics and custom lifts. Nacole enjoys treating a variety of patients from high school and college athletes to those more mature patients with age- or work-related injuries and also after orthopedic surgery.

"Orthopedics is the most varied and interesting of all areas of practice to me. Each patient presents with symptoms unique to them, and using my knowledge and manual therapy skills to return them to their full function and potential is very rewarding. Having up to an hour of one-on-one time with my patients is integral to evaluating and treating the whole person"

When not in the clinic, Nacole loves to travel, and many patients refer to her as their personal travel agent. Traveling both locally and internationally, she enjoys planning fun adventures for her family or relaxing getaways to de-stress and disconnect. Nacole is also passionate about food and fitness--growing a garden, preserving and cooking, and also regularly kickboxing or getting out in nature.
